Accelerated Learning Programme

During these classes, we consolidate previous learning and prepare students for exams. The lessons are designed to ensure that students become familiar with and can apply the Assessment Objectives to exam questions, both during class assessments and in their end of year exams.

Each lesson is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to achieve the top levels in English Language.

•Understand and explain how Shakespeare presents the characters in the specific extracts and in the rest of the play
•Explain the major themes in the play and demonstrate the link to the characters
•Identify and explain the symbolism and motifs in the play
•Learn the exam answering technique for the exam questions
•Learn how to write an exam essay for full marks
